Is there any pain or discomfort during surgery?

This will make you very relaxed while making the anaesthetic more effective. Most patients become very sleepy and do not remember much of the treatment afterwards. It is therefore important that you have a friend or relative with you who can accompany you home after the treatment. You must not take any sleeping pills, drink wine or alcohol the night before the treatment.
