A few words about dental fears

The cause of dental anxiety, or so-called dental fear, is usually that the patient has had previous negative experiences with the dentist. This may be due to a lack of knowledge on the part of the dentist, poor dialogue between dentist and patient, or because the dentist, due to time pressure, has not given the patient the time needed to unwind, become comfortable with the situation or simply get the effect of a possible anaesthetic injection. At Astondental, you don't have to worry about any of that. We have high standards for the competence of all our staff, do everything we can to make you feel safe and relaxed before treatment begins and always ensure that you receive the best possible treatment. Some patients request anaesthetic treatments, but as they are both time-consuming and costly, and can have many side effects, we have chosen to use other methods to provide the most painless treatment possible.
